CT Breast Health Initiative

Niantic Jazzercise Fitness Center (formerly Jazzercise of Waterford) has been a strong supporter of CT BHI since its inception. Each year this organization holds a Thanksgiving morning event to raise awareness and funding for CT BHI. Who would have thought, back in 1998, that the cumulative total raised for breast cancer research and for those who suffer from the illness would be $192,000 including $25,000 raised in this year’s event (see second photo below). Shown above is Roseann "Cookie" DelBiondo, owner and instructor of Jazzercise of Waterford since 1995. It is through Cookie's efforts that the annual Thanksgiving benefit is held.
