How will my personal information be used?

The Connecticut Breast Health Initiative, Inc. (CT BHI) is committed to protecting your privacy. Information provided as part of the online giving process will be used by the administrative office for the purpose of ensuring that your contribution is appropriately recorded, processed, tracked, and properly recognized. Personal information contained in the CT BHI databases is used only for CT BHI-related business.

Is my credit card safe when I give online?

The online giving portion of the CT BHI site uses secure server software (SSL) that is an industry standard, and among the best software available today for secure e-commerce transactions. SSL encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

Does my gift really make a difference?

Yes, every gift makes a difference. Gifts of any size play an important role in helping CT BHI meet its mission – to make a difference locally in the fight against breast cancer through education and research. The majority of gifts made to CT BHI each year are under $100.

What are the tax benefits of making a gift?

Most gifts to the CT BHI are tax deductible. If you make a gift online, we will send you a receipt by e-mail immediately after your transaction is completed; please keep this receipt for your records.
